Jess Holland & Nick Hoover: Jess Holland and Nick Hoover began playing music together over the summer of 2008. Originally drawn to sad songs and murder ballads, the duo has developed a repertoire of Americana originals and covers that includes their favorite artists from John Prine, Joni Mitchell and Bob Dylan to Dr. Dog and Wilco. Their thoughtful harmonies are accompanied by a combination of guitar and banjo, occasionally supported by a full band of local heroes.
