History Speaks: The Cherryland Problem with Sergio Gonzales

July 15 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

History Speaks is a free, all-ages monthly lecture series hosted by the Ephraim Historical Foundation at the Ephraim Village Hall. Held monthly from June through September, these engaging evening programs feature guest speakers and experts who explore a wide range of topics related to Ephraim’s rich heritage and broader historical themes.

Whether you’re a longtime resident or a visitor to Door County, History Speaks invites you to deepen your understanding of the area’s past and its connections to the present. Join us at the Ephraim Village Hall to experience history come alive through the voices of those who know it best.

This month’s evening lecture will feature Dr. Sergio Gonzales from Marquette University’s History Department. We will be discussing Door County’s cherry production industry and the history of Mexican migrant workers in the peninsula.
